About me

Farah Kandah

In 2002 I received my  B.S. degree in Computer Science from the HASHEMITE UNIVERSITY in JORDAN, and in 2005 I received the  M.S. degree in Computer Science, from the UNIVERSITY OF JORDAN in JORDAN.

I am currently a PH.D. student in the Computer Science Department, NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY. From 2008 till now I work in research as I granted a research assistantship from the Computer Department in NDSU. My interests are in Wireless Networks,  Wireless Mesh Networks, Interference aware Channel Assignment  and Survivability in Wireless Mesh Networks.

The research in the ViCAN Lab focuses on cognitive radio, wireless LANs, sensor networks, mobile ad-hoc networks, pervasive computing systems, embedded systems, and related security and privacy issues.
